In short: Moonpuddle collects no information. Everything the app remembers stays on your device. There are no accounts, ads, analytics or tracking, and the app does not use the internet.
What the app saves, and where
To make stories personal, Moonpuddle saves these on your device only: the child's name (a first name or nickname is enough), the hero's look, chosen interests, saved stories, stickers, the day schedule, the star chart, feelings check-ins (only if a grown-up turns them on) and simple progress, such as how many stories were read. None of it is ever sent to us or to anyone else.
What we don't do
- No accounts or sign-in.
- No advertising.
- No analytics, tracking or profiling.
- No third-party services that collect data.
- No internet connection: the stories and pictures are inside the app.
Children
Moonpuddle is made for young children. We do not collect personal information from anyone, including children. Settings sit in the Grown-ups area, behind a simple question for adults.
Deleting everything
A grown-up can delete all saved information at any time: Grown-ups → Delete all data. Deleting the app also removes everything it saved.
Emails
The Grown-ups area can open an email to us, for a question or to report a story (a report includes the story's title). Nothing is sent unless you send that email. We use your message and email address only to reply to you, never share them, and delete them if you ask.
Changes
If this policy changes, we will update this page and the date at the top.
